Originally from China, Ruohong Wu is educated as an architect in the UK, and holds a diploma (AADipl) from the Architectural Association London. She is also co-founder of architecture & design office RUJA office and RUJA press.
Ruohong Wu's work attempts to transfer certain imperfect situations of society into aesthetic values, to turn cultural conflict into opportunities of creating new languages in the field of art and design. Projects often deal with abstract form and pattern, which is brought by challenging both craft and modern production process.
Her work has been exhibited internationally in London, Beijing, Shanghai, Paris, Madrid, Milan, and elsewhere.
